Tuesday - Day 2
Today has been a very busy day. After a huge breakfast of scrambled eggs made with eggs laid by the chickens here at Dell Farm, we went to feed and groom the animals.
Once we had put on more layers, we set off for a long walk to Dunstable Downs where we climbed a huge hill (some of us had to take a few breaks to make it up in one piece!) Once we had arrived at the visitors centre, we played some games and had our lunch.
After some more games, we moved on to a fascinating place called Chute Wood where we played a game, testing out our ability to camouflage ourselves well enough to be hidden as close as possible to the person trying to find us. Before dark, we walked back to Dell Farm across fields and through more muddy puddles.
Free time on the farm was great fun. We got to play welly ball and spend some time with the goats, rabbits, ponies and donkeys (the donkeys were mean!) We couldn't find the guinea pig anywhere! After free time, we had some more food, a delicious spaghetti bolognese with some garlic bread and cheesecake to finish.
To finish off a fun, yet tiring, day (and with very tired children), we watched a film then had chocolate and made our way to bed.
